Nothing launches a limited edition glow-in-the-dark phone co-designed by fans

Nothing has introduced a special glow-in-the-dark version of its Phone 2A Plus, dubbed the Community Edition, which was co-created with input from fans.

Limited to just 1,000 units, the unique device will be available on November 12 for $399.

The Community Edition features a green, phosphorescent back that softly glows in the dark and includes three light strips around the rear camera. Inspired by community designs, this edition came from over 900 submissions in a contest inviting fans to help shape the phone’s appearance and packaging.

In addition to the glowing back, the Community Edition includes new, reflective packaging and a set of six exclusive wallpapers called the “Connected Collection.”

Marketing for the phone will feature the campaign slogan, “Find your light. Capture your light,” created by designer Sonya Palma.

This Community Edition, Nothing’s first hardware collaboration with fans, follows past partnerships that encouraged users to design accessories for its CMF line.
