Japanese company Balmuda has introduced a premium alarm clock called The Clock, developed in collaboration with former Apple chief designer Jony Ive.

The device features a solid aluminum корпус measuring 7.5 cm on each side and weighing 259 grams. It uses a light-based dial without traditional hands and is designed to be portable for everyday use at home or while traveling.

The clock includes a built-in battery that lasts up to 24 hours and charges via USB-C, along with stereo speakers. Through the BALMUDA Connect app, users can configure alarm times, sounds and dial lighting, with support for both iOS and Android.

Additional features include a focus timer with white noise, a relaxation mode with nature soundtracks and time zone settings.

The Clock is priced at 59,400 yen, or around $375.
