More than 1,400 Twitter employees have joined Blind, the anonymous professional network, after Elon Musk bought out the platform, Insider reports.
Co-founder Kyum Kim said Blind had become "much more popular" following this month's massive layoffs in the tech sector. He added that about 95 per cent of Twitter's remaining employees are now at Blind.
The day some employees found out about the impending mass layoffs Twitter employees started writing feedback on Blind about the platform. More than 950 Twitter reviews have been posted by employees since 2020.
Blind only allows users to write posts and upload reviews about the company they work for. In doing so, they must include their work email address, job title and employer in order to "gauge the professional status" of users.
After Musk bought Twitter he cut almost half of Twitter's staff and gave the remaining employees an ultimatum to join his "extremely tough" work culture or quit. According to Insider, around 2,000 people chose to quit.
