Apple is rolling out its first AI-powered features for the iPhone 16 with the release of iOS 18.1 on October 28, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.

The update will include AI-driven notification summaries and improvements to Siri, such as better understanding when users stumble over their words. Although Apple Intelligence features will initially be available only on the iPhone 15 Pro and newer models, Macs and iPads with M1 chips or later can also access the new capabilities in beta.

Additional AI features like Apple’s Image Playground and Genmoji are expected by December, with further enhancements coming in 2024.
