Google enhances Gemini writing tools in Gmail with new draft polishing feature

Google has updated its Gemini AI tools in Gmail, adding a new "Polish" option to help users refine their email drafts.

In addition to existing features like Formalize and Elaborate, the new tool allows users to enhance the quality of their drafts directly within Gmail. Available to Google One AI Premium subscribers and Workspace users with the Gemini add-on, the feature introduces shortcuts that appear in the email body on Android and iOS, making it easier to access AI-driven writing assistance.

Users can now quickly refine, formalize, or elaborate on their emails with a simple swipe or tap.
