Apple has delayed the launch of its Apple Intelligence feature to October, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.

Initially expected with iOS 18, the feature will now be included in software updates arriving several weeks after the main releases of iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia.

The delay is due to concerns about the stability of Apple Intelligence and the need for more testing time. The feature will be available to developers with the first betas of iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1 next week, which is unusual for Apple as they typically don't release follow-up software previews until after the initial version is out.

This means the iPhone 16 lineup will launch without Apple Intelligence, requiring a later update. Additionally, advanced features like an overhauled Siri using on-device data are now expected in the first half of 2025.
