Leak reveals upgraded features for upcoming Motorola Razr+

A recent leak has unveiled several enhancements for the upcoming Motorola Razr+ (2024), including a telephoto camera, improved water resistance, and integrated AI capabilities.

Motorola's new Razr+ is set to debut next week, and this leak offers a glimpse into some significant upgrades. The leaked video, shared by Twitter/X user @MysteryLupin, showcases a few notable features.

Firstly, the Razr+ will feature a telephoto lens, a rare addition for foldable flip phones which traditionally come with standard and ultrawide cameras. This enhancement promises to improve the device’s photography capabilities.

Secondly, the video highlights enhanced water resistance, claiming “underwater protection” with an IPX8 rating. This is an upgrade from the previous model's IP52 rating, which only protected against splashes. The IPX8 rating indicates better water resistance, similar to Samsung’s foldables, but raises questions about the phone’s dust resistance, as the previous model’s dust protection was a key feature.

Finally, the video mentions AI enhancements, branding the camera as “AI-powered” and featuring “Moto AI.” While Motorola has previously introduced AI features in international releases, this marks the first significant AI push for its devices in the US market.
