Grand Theft Auto VI set for fall 2025 release

Take-Two Interactive has officially announced that Grand Theft Auto VI will launch in the fall of 2025, narrowing the game's previously broad 2025 release window.

The details were revealed in Take-Two's Q4 2024 earnings report, with Chairman and CEO Strauss Zelnick expressing confidence in Rockstar Games' ability to deliver "an unparalleled entertainment experience."

The long-awaited game will return to Vice City, set in Leonida, Rockstar's version of Florida. Unlike the 2002 game, which had an 80s-inspired storyline, GTA VI will feature a modern backdrop.
