Apple enthusiasts can expect the long-awaited release of new iPads in early May, as reported by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.

The upcoming lineup includes an iPad Pro featuring an OLED display for enhanced visual experience and a faster iPad Air, which will include a 12.9-inch model for the first time in the series.

The new iPad Pro models are set to introduce OLED displays, promising deeper blacks and richer colors. Powered by the new M3 chip, already utilized in various Mac models, these tablets will be accompanied by a redesigned Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard. While the Magic Keyboard retains its traditional design, it will be available in a new white color option.

On the other hand, the iPad Air is expected to boast a new processor, speculated to be the M2, considering the M3 chip is likely reserved for the higher-end iPad Pro models. Additionally, the 12.9-inch screen variant of the iPad Air will mark a significant expansion beyond the typical 10.9-inch display, offering consumers a more extensive viewing experience.

Initially rumored to launch alongside the M3 MacBook Air earlier this month, the iPads' release schedule was delayed to refine the software and address manufacturing challenges associated with the introduction of new technologies.
