Leaked schematics reveal upcoming iPad Air with 12.9-inch display and redesigned rear camera

The larger iPad Air, with its 12.9-inch screen, mirrors the display size of the existing iPad Pro's largest variant.

While maintaining the familiar iPad Air design, the leaked images also reveal a redesigned rear camera layout. The camera and flash are now housed in a protruding rectangular module, reminiscent of earlier iPhone designs. This alteration hints at potential enhancements to the device's photography capabilities.

Despite the lack of a confirmed release date, speculation suggests a debut in the first half of the year. Apple is expected to simultaneously offer the existing 10.9-inch iPad Air and the new 12.9-inch variant, with pricing likely to reflect the larger display.

The company is also expected to unveil an updated iPad Pro lineup with OLED displays by June, with updates to the iPad mini and base model iPad coming later in the year.
