Notion has officially launched its new calendar app, Notion Calendar, which has been developed following the acquisition of Cron in 2022.

Notable features of Notion Calendar include a built-in scheduler and seamless merging of content from various productivity tools such as notes, documents, and project dates. The app allows users to link Notion notes and documents directly to meetings, transforming calendar invites into comprehensive hubs where participants can view or add supporting content.

External integrations with popular tools like Google Calendar, Google Meet, and Zoom enhance its versatility.

Raphael Schaad, founder of Cron and now head of Notion Calendar, describes the app as "a new way to manage your most precious resource, time."

Notion Calendar requires a one-time sign-in with Google Calendar to set up, but the company has acknowledged facing Google Auth rate limits on launch day, causing sign-in issues. The problem is expected to be resolved within a day.

The calendar app currently supports Windows, Mac, and iOS, with Android support coming soon. While Office 365 and iCloud integration are not yet available at launch, the company assures users that these features are on the roadmap for future updates.
