Snapchat now lets subscribers use AI to generate or extend images within the app

Snapchat Plus subscribers, on the $3.99 plan, can now utilize advanced AI features to generate images based on text prompts.

By tapping the "AI" button, users can input a prompt or choose from premade options, such as "a futuristic disco" or "a rocket preparing for liftoff," with Snapchat's AI creating images based on these prompts.

Additionally, subscribers can experiment with AI to extend the background of photos and use "Dreams" to transform selfies, enhancing the creative possibilities for Snapchat users.

This comes as Snapchat continues to integrate diverse AI features, including the introduction of a chatbot and collaborative efforts with ChatGPT for filter creation.
