Google has upgraded its search engine and Lens tool to assist users in solving complex problems in subjects such as geometry, physics, trigonometry, and calculus.

This update enables users to input equations into the search bar or utilize Lens to capture photos, receiving both the correct answer and a step-by-step explanation. Additionally, it offers solutions to word problems, explaining concepts like average acceleration in high school physics.

The math solver feature can be accessed by typing "[math solver]" directly into the search bar, although it's currently available only on desktop, with plans for a mobile launch by year-end.

Another notable addition is the geometry solver within Lens, which aids in visualizing and understanding geometry problems. However, it is presently limited to specific triangle-related problems.

In addition to problem-solving capabilities, Google Search has introduced interactive 3D models for nearly 1,000 topics, including biology, chemistry, physics, and astronomy.
