WhatsApp has begun testing a refreshed interface for iPhone users, introducing a new “Liquid Glass” look, according to WABetaInfo.

The updated design appears in version 25.28.75 of the app for some users, though Meta has not formally announced the change.

The most visible tweak is a redesigned bottom navigation bar with a translucent, glass-like effect that mirrors Apple’s current iOS aesthetic.

For now, the update isn’t available to everyone running the latest version. Reports suggest Meta may be conducting a limited rollout or gradually enabling the feature on selected accounts. Some users note that even with version 25.28.75 installed, the glass design hasn’t appeared, pointing to a server-side switch.

The new interface is expected to reach all WhatsApp users in upcoming releases, but no timeline for a wider rollout has been confirmed.
