WhatsApp to support multiple accounts on a single iPhone

WhatsApp has introduced support for multiple accounts on one iPhone in its latest beta release, according to WABetaInfo.

The new multi-account feature allows users to switch between two WhatsApp profiles directly from the settings page, without logging out or restarting the app. Each account keeps its own chat history and notification preferences.

“It appears that WhatsApp is finally testing this feature with the public, as some beta testers reported that the option to add and switch between multiple accounts is now available within the app’s settings menu,” the report notes.

This update promises a smoother, more convenient way to manage several profiles within a single app.

A new section called Account List will appear in the settings menu, along with a dedicated button placed next to the QR code. According to the report, this section will let users add an additional account directly within the app, without needing a second device or WhatsApp Business.
