WhatsApp has launched a long-awaited update that lets users create, organize, and share custom sticker packs directly in the app — no need for third-party apps or workarounds.
The new feature is now available on both Android and iOS. Users will notice a new pencil icon in the sticker tray, next to GIFs, avatars, and regular stickers. Tapping it opens up the option to turn images from your gallery into stickers, compile them into a named pack, and share the entire pack with others — all within the app.
Previously, users had to rely on external apps to build sticker sets. Now WhatsApp is offering a native, streamlined experience — including the ability to organize saved stickers into multiple folders for quicker access.
The update also allows users to send an entire sticker pack to contacts, instead of forwarding one sticker at a time — simplifying how sticker-based conversations happen.
