Valve may be developing a new AI feature called SteamGPT, according to recently discovered Steam files and findings shared by Belarusian dataminer Gabe Follower.

References in the files mention task creation, labeling, model evaluation, summarization, and reasoning, suggesting SteamGPT could function as an internal AI tool rather than a public chatbot. The system appears to be connected to labeling workflows, testing results, and data used for model fine-tuning.

Another related feature, called SteamGPT Summary, reportedly gathers account-related information such as profile details, Steam Guard status, security history, country, VAC status, phone data, fraud signals, and playtime. This suggests the tool may be designed for moderation, support, or account verification rather than storefront features. Valve has not officially confirmed the development of SteamGPT.
