Unitree unveils H2 humanoid robot in China

Chinese robotics company Unitree Robotics has introduced its next-generation bionic humanoid robot, the Unitree H2.

"Standing 180 cm tall and weighing 70 kg, the new model comes closer than ever to human proportions — even donning clothes in the official launch video to highlight its lifelike design," Pandaily noted.

The company equipped its new creation with 31 joints for greater flexibility and smoother motion, TechNode wrote. However, Unitree Robotics has not yet disclosed the full technical specifications of the new robot. In the video, the H2 performs dance moves and martial arts sequences.

"Compared with its predecessor Unitree H1, the H2 adopts a more humanlike appearance, featuring a bionic face and clothing in its demo video to enhance realism," the publication added.
