TON Foundation Launches TON Sites and TON Proxy

The TON Foundation has announced the launch of TON Sites and TON Proxy 1.0, integral components of Web 3.0. The launch has been hailed as a crucial step in the establishment of the Web 3.0.

TON Foundation members have stated that these are unique technologies that enable the creation of fully decentralized, secure and private websites available on the TON network. The sites use a decentralised TON DNS for domain names. Any user, with no technical knowledge, can browse TON sites directly in a browser on their device, just like a normal web page:

You'll then be able to open ".ton" sites directly in your browser, just like regular websites.

TON Sites and TON Proxy are said to be an ideal example of Web3 services in the original sense. According to the developers, they are cryptographically secured and do not resort to centralised services.

The TON Foundation has also published an article on TON Sites and TON Proxy. It said that the close interconnection of the TON network with TON blockchain, Toncoin and TON services "creates a synergy, elevating the network’s technology to a whole new level.”
