Indian cuisine is the most popular format among cafes and restaurants that operate in Dubai and the UAE as a whole. According to the geo-service Urbi, the UAE has almost 6,000 establishments serving Indian cuisine.

Arabic cuisine occupies the second place, with more than 3200 establishments having traditional Arabic dishes in the menu, followed by Pakistani cuisine (1820 establishments), Chinese cuisine (1800 establishments) and international cuisine (1630 establishments).

In total, the UAE catering market represents more than 70 types of kitchens.
