Telegram gifts can now be “tried on” before purchase

Gifts will now appear directly in Telegram’s settings, giving users the option to preview them before buying.

If you want to customize your profile colors, Telegram now lets you test any gift from the store and if you like the look, you can buy it directly from the settings menu.

On top of that, you’ll be able to apply a gift design to your chat background, and even style your message bubbles in group chats to match the gift’s theme.

And of course, Telegram will also let you hide gift captions with the sender’s name and comment — for a fee.

These features are currently in testing and will roll out to users with the next global update.
