Spotify is once again increasing the cost of its premium subscriptions.

This will be the platform’s third price hike since 2023. The changes will affect users in the United States, as well as subscribers in Estonia and Latvia.

Updated pricing:

  • Individual Premium plan: from $11.99 to $12.99
  • Student plan: increases by $1 to $6.99
  • Duo plan: from $16.99 to $18.99
  • Family plan: from $19.99 to $21.99

Spotify says the increase is aimed at “offering the best possible experience” and claims the updated pricing will also benefit artists.

The previous price increase in the US took place in June 2024. Since then, the platform has rolled out lossless audio support and introduced several AI-powered features.
