Sony has announced the Hyperpop Collection, a new line of accessories for the PlayStation 5 that significantly refreshes the console’s look.

The collection includes three new design options for wireless DualSense controllers and interchangeable PS5 console panels: Techno Red, Remix Green, and Rhythm Blue. No interchangeable panels will be available for the PS5 Pro.

The designs were created by Sony designers Leo Cardoso and Sae Kobayashi. According to the team, the main inspiration came from RGB lighting commonly used in modern gaming setups.

The key visual feature is a seamless gradient that transitions from deep glossy black to vivid colors. Both the controllers and console panels feature a high-gloss finish, while the PS5 side panels also have a subtle translucent effect.

Global sales of the Hyperpop Collection will begin on March 12, 2026, with pre-orders opening on January 16.

Pricing:

  • DualSense Hyperpop controller: $84.99 / €84.99 / £74.99
  • PS5 interchangeable panels: $74.99 / €74.99 / £64.99

Sony noted that the interchangeable panels will be produced in limited quantities and may not be available in all regions.
