Samsung is gearing up to launch its smart XR glasses this January, according to 9to5Google.

The reveal is expected to take place during the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event, where the new Samsung Galaxy S25 lineup will be the headline announcement. The rumored date for the event is January 22.

However, sources suggest that the January unveiling will be more of a teaser. The glasses will reportedly feature in a promotional video, with a full-fledged presentation slated for the summer Galaxy Unpacked event, which will also showcase Samsung's latest foldable devices.

Insiders hint that Samsung's smart glasses will boast impressive features, including integration with Google's Gemini AI, gesture recognition, and support for contactless payments. Interestingly, the device is expected to omit a display, marking a unique approach in the XR space.
