Telegram founder Pavel Durov was among the roughly 150 guests invited to the wedding of Irish MMA star Conor McGregor.

On January 26, McGregor published a post in support of Durov and shared several photos, one of which appears to confirm the Telegram chief’s presence at a private wedding celebration.

McGregor married Dee Devlin on December 12, with the ceremony held at the Vatican. According to multiple Western media outlets, the couple later hosted guests at one of Italy’s castles, where the wedding reception took place.

While the guest list has not been made public, it is now clear that Durov was among those in attendance.

Based on photos shared by McGregor, the two appear to be on friendly terms, despite the controversy the Irish fighter sparked in the autumn of 2025.

“Pavel, you’re a legend and you are inspiring entrepreneurs and rebels everywhere to never back down. You are a dear friend and a loyal brother and I stand alongside you all the way 100%! ” McGregor wrote.

As a reminder, McGregor’s dispute with Nurmagomedov last November centered on Telegram’s release of digital gifts, which he argued disrespected he name of a deceased father and the culture of his homeland.

During the exchange, McGregor also criticized Telegram for selling the items, telling Nurmagomedov that if something is sold, it can no longer be considered a gift.
