OpenAI has expanded the rollout of its budget-tier ChatGPT Go plan, Android Authority reports.
After debuting in India, the subscription is now available in Indonesia for 75,000 rupiah (around $4.50) per month. According to Nick Turley, OpenAI’s head of ChatGPT growth, the plan sits between the free version and the full ChatGPT Plus subscription at $20.
Turley noted that subscriber numbers in India more than doubled after ChatGPT Go launched there.
The arrival of ChatGPT Go in Indonesia puts OpenAI in direct competition with Google, which introduced its regional AI Plus plan this month at a similar price point.
