OnePlus denies shutdown rumors

OnePlus has firmly denied reports suggesting the company is preparing to shut down, according to Android Authority. The company’s management described the claims as false and unverified.

Earlier, Android Headlines reported that Oppo had allegedly begun winding down the OnePlus brand as an independent entity, suggesting a “quiet” phase-out of the sub-brand by its parent company.

OnePlus India head Robin Liu issued an official statement on X, calling the reports inaccurate and stressing that the company’s business operations continue as normal.

In its statement, OnePlus urged the public to rely only on official sources when verifying information and warned against the spread of unsubstantiated claims about the company’s activities.

OnePlus North America also released a separate statement confirming that operations in the region remain unchanged. The U.S. division assured customers that after-sales support, software updates, and all existing commitments will continue as usual.
