Prices for Nvidia graphics cards on Chinese marketplaces jumped by 13–28% in a single day after the company notified board partners of upcoming price increases for GPUs using GDDR6 and GDDR7 memory, Wccftech reports.
According to the report, Nvidia informed partners including Asus, MSI, Colorful, and Inno3D that GPU kits would become more expensive by 600 yuan (about $89) for 8 GB models, 900 yuan (about $133) for 12 GB versions, and 1,200 yuan (about $177) for 16 GB cards.

The price hikes are also affecting prebuilt PCs. At the official Asus store, a desktop equipped with an RTX 5090increased from 55,500 yuan to 59,000 yuan in a single day — from roughly $8,200 to $8,700.
