American YouTuber and the highest-paid content creator Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, humorously addressed the potential TikTok ban in the United States.

In a post on X, he wrote: "Okay fine, I'll buy TikTok so it doesn't get banned." The statement sparked widespread discussion, as MrBeast is known for his massive financial projects and significant influence in the media world.

The threat of a TikTok ban in the U.S. stems from national security concerns. Last year, Congress passed a law requiring the social platform to sever ties with its Chinese parent company, ByteDance. U.S. authorities claim the Chinese government could use TikTok for surveillance or information manipulation. However, TikTok denies these allegations, citing a lack of evidence.

Currently, TikTok has approximately 170 million users in the U.S. If the platform fails to change ownership by January 19, it faces a complete ban, leading to significant losses in both audience and advertising revenue. Experts warn that even a one-month ban could cost the platform up to a third of its daily users, dealing a blow to content creators and advertising campaigns.
