LG has officially entered the foldable laptop market with the introduction of the LG Gram Fold.

This touchscreen device offers a 17-inch OLED display with QXGA+ resolution (2560 x 1920 pixels), which when unfolded turns into a versatile tablet or computer with an accompanying Bluetooth keyboard. Users can also leverage styluses for creative tasks such as art and calligraphy.

The laptop is designed to be folded multiple times, with LG claiming it can take 30,000 folds without damaging the display. While this figure may seem lower than in some foldable smartphone tests, it's well within the range of typical laptop use.

The LG Gram Fold is powered by a 13th generation Intel Core i5 processor and impressively fast RAM, which is claimed to be 15 times faster than LPDDR5 5200 memory. The device runs Windows 11 and features Sync On Mobile for seamless data transfer from your phone.

The LG Gram Fold will initially be released in October, exclusively in Korea, priced at $3,700. However, "early birds" of the first 200 buyers will be able to purchase it for $2,959. LG plans to include a mouse and stylus for early buyers, but those accessories won't come standard.
