Denis Karpenko, a programmer who once won Apple WWDC Scholarship and who also happens to be a regular reader of our Telegram channel, created an app that can help you become a billionaire.
Wallet 967 is a lost bitcoin wallet that currently holds around $600 million. Karpenko decided that this money should not just lie idle and may be put to good use. The only problem is that nobody knows the key to the wallet.
Thus, he created an app that helps you find a key for it. Although the probability is very tiny, users can check their luck and in case they succeed - grab all the money.
The process is pretty straightforward - the app just enumerates all possible private keys using bitcoin blockchain algorithms and checks them,
the app description in AppStore reads.
Each private key is a 256-bit number. The goal is to find the one which can produce the address of the wallet 967. Karpenko asks users to thank him in case they find the key.
Recently, Karpenko has started an Instagram account where you can track all the progress made by other users.
