LoveFrom, the design firm led by Jony Ive, has unveiled a new animated seal for the UK's outer space sustainability initiative.

Designed for King Charles III, the Astra Carta seal serves as a call to action for the public and private sectors to work together on responsible and sustainable use of outer space.

The round badge features the Latin words "ASTRA CARTA" written in capital letters and positioned below the crown. In the center of the seal, a blue dot symbolizes the planet Earth, surrounded by constellations, the Sun, the Moon, and the flowery path of Venus. The outer edge of the seal includes smaller text that reads, "To care for the infinite wonders of the universe," translated into Latin.

LoveFrom's approach to the design reflects a commitment to protect the natural world in a time when it is crucial to do so. The team is honored to contribute to this important and pioneering project.

LoveFrom's website provides detailed insights into the design process. While the Astra Carta seal may differ from the simplicity commonly associated with Ive's designs, it aligns with LoveFrom's previous work, such as the Terra Carta seal created for sustainable business practices in the UK.
