Apple may introduce an iPhone 18 Plus and delay the release of its foldable iPhone, according to MacRumors.

Analyst Tim Long reports that Apple is planning to launch several devices alongside the base iPhone 18 in March 2027, including a more affordable iPhone 18e and either an iPhone 18 Plus or a second-generation iPhone Air.

"Long mentioning the possibility of an iPhone 18 Plus is notable, as we have not heard any other rumors about such a device," note the authors at MacRumors.

At the same time, Apple has been shifting its lineup in recent years, replacing the Plus model with the iPhone Air, which makes the potential return of a Plus variant uncertain.

According to the same report, shipments of Apple’s foldable iPhone are now expected to begin in December, while the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models are likely to launch in September.

For now, reports about a potential iPhone 18 Plus scheduled for March 2027 should be treated with caution.
