Instagram tests vertical profile grids

Instagram is testing a new feature that could reshape users' profile pages by turning the traditional square grid into vertical rectangles.

According to Instagram chief Adam Mosseri, the majority of uploads are now vertical, making the square format outdated.

While this change could disrupt carefully curated layouts, Instagram is only testing the feature with a small group and will consider community feedback before a wider rollout.
