Rockstar Games appears to be working on a unique music feature for GTA VI — giving artists direct control over their in-game radio stations.
The news comes from rapper and producer Jermaine Dupri, who revealed on the New Rory & Mal podcast that global hip-hop star Drake will reportedly have his own radio station in GTA VI, where he can upload previously unreleased tracks.
In other words, players could hear exclusive music available only in-game. Previous leaks have also suggested that DJ Khaled will host one of the stations, playing his own songs and possibly offering live commentary.
This would extend Rockstar’s long-running tradition of involving music stars as radio hosts. In GTA V, for instance, Frank Ocean curated the Blonded Los Santos 97.8 FM station. With GTA VI, the format appears even more interactive — artists may be able to update their playlists in real time.
GTA VI is scheduled for release on May 26, 2026. It will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S and center around a story of a criminal couple — Jason and Lucia — caught in a web of crime.
