Grand Theft Auto VI is officially scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, with no delays planned.
Take-Two Interactive chairman and CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed the date in the company’s latest earnings report, noting that the game will release simultaneously in both digital and physical formats.
“Given the highly anticipated launch of Grand Theft Auto VI on November 19th, we continue to project record levels of Net Bookings in Fiscal 2027, which we believe will establish a new financial baseline for our business,” Zelnick said.
According to IGN, Zelnick also dismissed speculation that Rockstar might delay physical editions until 2027 to prevent leaks.
When asked whether physical copies would be postponed, he responded, “That’s not the plan.”
The new installment returns players to the fictional state of Leonida, including Vice City, and will once again feature dual protagonists, Jason and Lucia.
