Rockstar is set to release Grand Theft Auto VI on November 19 for PS5 and Xbox Series consoles, but the physical edition of the game may arrive later than the digital version.
The claim comes from insider Graczdariego, who has previously shared accurate information about Microsoft Flight Simulator coming to PS5 and the release date of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds on the Switch 2.
According to the source, publisher Take-Two is reportedly not planning to ship disc editions of GTA 6 on launch day. The decision is said to be driven by concerns over potential leaks, including spoilers and early gameplay footage.
The physical release could follow three to four weeks after the digital launch, or even slip into early 2027. There is no official confirmation at this stage, and the information should be treated as rumor and speculation.
More details are expected to emerge in mid-February. GTA 6 will return players to Vice City and follow the story of Jason and Lucia. The game has already been delayed several times and was originally slated for a 2025 release, but there are currently no reports of additional delays.
