Google is updating its AI Search features to surface firsthand advice from public online discussions, including forums and social media, inside its AI-generated answers.
A new section in AI Mode and AI Overviews will display previews of perspectives from real users, sometimes labeled "Expert Advice" or "Community Perspectives" depending on the query. Each excerpt comes with the creator's name, handle, or community name, so readers can quickly judge whether they want to click through to the full discussion.

Alongside this, Google is rolling out four more updates to AI Search. AI responses will now end with a "Further Exploration" section, recommending in-depth articles or case studies on different angles of a topic. Links from a user's own news subscriptions will be highlighted with a "Subscribed" label so that trusted sources appear first.
Inline links inside AI answers will also become more granular, sitting next to the relevant bullet point or paragraph rather than at the end. On desktop, hovering over a link will show a quick preview of the destination site, including its name and page title — a feature aimed at addressing user hesitation about clicking unfamiliar links.
