Details about the display resolution of Apple’s upcoming foldable iPhone “Fold” have surfaced online, according to MacRumors, citing a post from Chinese insider Digital Chat Station.

According to the leak, the internal display will measure 7.76 inches with a resolution of 2713 x 1920 and a 4:3 aspect ratio. This information was confirmed by renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who added that the screen will be crease-free. The internal display is also expected to feature an under-display camera.

The external screen will measure 5.49 inches with a resolution of 2088 x 1422. Its camera will not be placed under the screen.

According to Digital Chat Station, the device may feature under-display Face ID technology, suggesting that the iPhone “Fold” and Apple’s rumored hybrid device may share a similar design. Ming-Chi Kuo believes Apple will drop Face ID from the foldable iPhone and replace it with a side-mounted Touch ID button to save internal space.

The foldable iPhone is expected to launch in 2026. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports the device will be priced around $2,000. Analyst Jeff Pu adds that production of the iPad-MacBook hybrid will begin in the second half of 2026.
