Emirates will bring Starlink satellite connectivity to its entire in-service fleet, making high-speed internet available to all passengers, in all cabins, at no additional cost.
The rollout will start with Boeing 777 aircraft in November 2025 and finish by mid-2027, according to the airline’s official announcement.
The first Starlink-enabled commercial flight is scheduled for November 23, 2025. Once deployed, the system will support full bandwidth use, including streaming, gaming, video calls, work and social media on both seatback screens and personal devices. Emirates plans to retrofit around 14 aircraft each month. Each Boeing 777 will receive two Starlink antennae, while Airbus A380 jets will be equipped with three to maximise capacity and coverage across all cabin classes.
Installations on the A380 fleet will begin in February 2026. In total, the programme covers 232 aircraft, positioning Emirates to operate the world’s largest Starlink-enabled wide-body fleet once the rollout is completed.
