Dell, known for its color-accurate displays, has introduced a line of UltraSharp monitors that not only offer color accuracy, but also a decent 120Hz refresh rate that appeals to gamers and professionals alike.
The new monitor lineup consists of four models, with two 27-inch variants offering 1440p resolutions and two 24-inch monitors featuring 1080p resolutions. These monitors feature IPS LCD displays with double the refresh rate of Dell's traditional UltraSharp models, providing smoother visuals.
The higher refresh rate isn't just for gamers; Dell positions it as part of a set of features designed to improve visual comfort and reduce eye strain. In addition, these monitors emit significantly less "harmful blue light" than previous models and have built-in ambient light sensors that adjust brightness and color tone based on room lighting conditions.
In addition to the high-refresh-rate monitors, Dell introduces a trio of video conferencing monitors with dual speakers, microphones, and 2K webcams integrated into a sizable forehead bezel. These monitors come in 24-inch and 27-inch variants with 1080p and 1440p resolutions, respectively, and a larger 34-inch model with an ultrawide 1440p resolution.
Dell's new monitor lineup will be released over the coming weeks, with prices ranging from $379.99 for the 24-inch 120Hz model to $949.99 for the ultrawide video conferencing monitor. The complete list of prices and release dates includes:
