Chinese bloggers from the YouTube channel 科技美学 (Techno-aesthetics) assembled the world's first foldable iPhone.
It took about 300 days to develop the device. As the basis they used the iPhone 13 Pro Max with a jailbreak. The screen loop had to be replaced with a more flexible one that would not break when folded. And to keep the original thickness, the makers changed the layout of the parts and removed the wireless charging coil.
Having finalized iOS for themselves, these craftspeople introduced the Split Screen mode on the iPhone. This way one could, for example, simultaneously launch WeChat messenger and YouTube.
The authors named their final prototype the iPhone V. Now they are ready to cooperate for technical improvement of their invention.
