Caviar's latest collection lets you choose between Messi and Ronaldo

Luxury customization brand Caviar has unveiled Legends, a new smartphone collection dedicated to football's biggest rivalry: Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo.

Messi gets a customized Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, while Ronaldo is featured on the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Both designs combine handcrafted cloisonné enamel with 24-karat gold-plated details and will be limited to 19 units each.

The Messi edition is finished in Argentina's national colors, with the forward's portrait, his iconic number 10, and national symbols covering the back of the phone. Ronaldo's version follows the same formula, replacing the palette with Portugal's colors and featuring his number 7 and the national coat of arms.

As usual for Caviar, buyers can go even further, adding custom engravings, logos, or entirely bespoke design elements.

The most curious part of the launch, however, has little to do with football. Messi's phone is based on Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra—a smartphone Samsung itself hasn't announced yet. The company is expected to unveil the foldable during Galaxy Unpacked on July 22, meaning Caviar started selling a luxury edition before the original device officially exists.
