Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has revealed new details about the upcoming "iPhone 17 Slim," set to debut next year.
Notably, the iPhone 17 Slim will feature just one rear camera, a "wide camera," while the standard iPhone 17 will have a dual-camera setup, and the Pro models will include three rear cameras. Despite its minimalistic design, the iPhone 17 Slim will be made of titanium, although with a lower titanium content than the current Pro models.
Additionally, Apple plans to discontinue the "iPhone Plus" model next year, positioning the iPhone 17 Slim as the most expensive model in the lineup with an estimated price tag of $1,299.
Kuo explains that the Plus model currently accounts for only about 5-10% of total new iPhone shipments, making it redundant as the standard, Pro, and Pro Max models already cover the high-end market segments.
