The Foldable iPhone will feature Touch ID instead of Face ID

Apple is expected to unveil its first foldable iPhone next year, according to Mark Gurman’s Power On newsletter for Bloomberg.

The device will reportedly come with four cameras: two on the back, one front-facing, and one on the inside panel.

• The foldable iPhone’s design and dimensions will resemble a book-style clamshell. Available colors are said to be limited to black and white.
• It will use Apple’s in-house C2 cellular modem, with no SIM card slot.
• Face ID will not be included — instead, the device will rely on Touch ID.
• An In-Cell display technology will help minimize the visibility of the crease.
• Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously reported that Samsung Display will manufacture 7–8 million panels per year for Apple.
