Apple has inadvertently revealed details about a new budget laptop called the MacBook Neo, which will reportedly use a processor originally designed for the iPhone.
A reference to the model, numbered A3404, appeared in regulatory filings and briefly on Apple’s website before being removed. The laptop is expected to feature a 12.9-inch display and a mobile chip such as the A18 Pro or A19 Pro.

Within Apple’s current Mac lineup, the device would sit below the MacBook Air. Its estimated price range is between $599 and $799.
According to insiders, the computer will be available in bright colors including yellow, green, blue, and pink.

The official announcement is expected at Apple Experience events in New York, London, and Shanghai.
