Analysts reveal expected price of the first foldable iPhone

Analysts at Fubon Research report that Apple’s first foldable iPhone is expected to cost $2,399, which is $400 higherthan earlier estimates.

The projection is based on supply-chain data and Apple’s anticipated profit margins. For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 is priced at $1,999, while Google’s Pixel 10 Pro Fold comes in at $1,799.

Because of its advanced technology, the smartphone may be named the iPhone Ultra. Its high price is attributed to the use of a crease-free foldable display and other cutting-edge features.

A price point around $2,400 positions Apple’s foldable firmly in the premium tier. The company has historically set higher prices than competitors, and analysts suggest the same strategy will apply to its first foldable device.
