Italian luxury sportscar maker Ferrari has announced an electrification strategy that calls for 40% full-electric and 40% hybrid models by 2030.

Now, just four Ferrari models, or 20% of the range, are hybrid cars. The first full-electric Ferrari car model will be announced in 2025. The firm's electric car batteries will be integrated into the chassis of cars in a manner that reduces the weight of the vehicle and increases its performance.

However, Ferrari will keep its legacy by developing solutions in energy efficiency and alternative fuels for its ICE engines.
