Apple has unveiled its latest MacBook Pro lineup, now powered by the new M4 Pro and M4 Max chips.

These updates bring more powerful processing, higher base RAM, and enhanced graphics capabilities to the 14- and 16-inch models.

The M4 Pro and Max processors boast what Apple claims to be "the world’s fastest CPU core" and "the industry’s best single-threaded performance," with substantial upgrades in multithreaded and GPU processing. The models also feature twice the AI processing power of previous versions, aligning with Apple’s expanding "Apple Intelligence" capabilities.

All three models now come with increased base RAM, starting at 16GB for the basic 14-inch model and 24GB for the Pro models. The new Pro laptops also feature the first Thunderbolt 5 ports on a MacBook and upgraded 12-megapixel webcams. An additional USB-C port has been added to the 14-inch Pro, along with a sleek new space black option.

Starting at $1,599, the new MacBook Pros are available for preorder now and will hit stores on November 8.
