Tesla has introduced its highly anticipated autonomous robotaxi, the Cybercab, during its "We, Robot" event in California.

The Cybercab, which features no steering wheel or pedals, is designed for full autonomy and aims to lower transportation costs to as little as 20 cents per mile. CEO Elon Musk announced that the Cybercab would be available for purchase at under $30,000, with production expected before 2027.

‌The futuristic vehicle also uses AI and inductive charging, without the need for traditional radars or sensors.

Alongside the Cybercab, Musk teased the Robovan, an autonomous van for large groups, and showcased Tesla's humanoid robots, Optimus, which are projected to sell for $20,000 to $30,000.
